Ghostwriters is an innovative word game with a backdrop of classic creepy story authors: Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft.

The gameplay is a creative new spin on word games. The game starts with a random crossword. On the first turn, Players must grab tiles from the board. Then, each turn Players have to choose between (1) playing words and turning all the words formed to stone or (2) grabbing letters.

The strategy is deep, because you can deny your opponent letters by turning tiles to stone, but you also must grab high point value letters from the board!

You can play in Single Player mode or Two Player mode against any other Ghostwriters player. The board comes in 3 sizes: 5x5, 9x9, and 13x13.

Your ranking is tracked in realtime and you can compare yourself to other players on the Ghostwriters Leaderboard. Defeat higher ranked players to increase your ranking more quickly! Easily start a game with players from the Leaderboard, or with Quick Start find a similarly ranked opponent.

You can play about 5-20 games per day for free over the course of a day, depending on if you get bonus tiles. Or you can purchase more book tokens or *infinite books* from the in-app purchase menu.

Purchasing book tokens isnt needed, but lets you play more games without waiting or get an edge over your opponent with bonus tiles. You get 1 book token per hour for free!
